Jihad: A Sacred Commitment – Between Mercy and Might
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Islam, the final and complete Deen revealed by Allah رب العالمين (Lord of all the worlds), is a perfect balance of mercy and might, compassion and courage, patience and power. At the heart of this divine faith is the mission to establish peace, justice, and the worship of One True God across the earth.
The beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Seal of Prophets, was sent as "رحمة للعالمين – Mercy to all worlds". His message was not to conquer lands, but to conquer hearts with truth, wisdom, and unshakeable character. His mercy touched orphans and kings alike, his smile softened the fiercest enemies, and his sword was unsheathed only to defend the oppressed and dismantle tyranny.
But when truth is attacked, when dignity is violated, and when the weak are crushed under the boots of arrogance and oppression—then Islam, the Deen of balance, does not teach silence. It teaches Jihad—a comprehensive term that includes striving with pen, tongue, wealth, and even life, solely for the pleasure of Allah.
The Essence of Jihad
Jihad is not chaos. It is not blind rage.
It is not terrorism. It is not hatred.
It is the highest form of organised, state-led resistance against injustice, done with sincerity, discipline, and divine intention. It is the struggle to protect truth, to defend the oppressed, to establish justice, and to uplift the dignity of humanity.
When the enemies of Islam, the enemies of Muslims, and the enemies of humanity exceed their bounds—slaughtering innocents, destroying sanctuaries, mocking the sanctities of our Deen—then silence becomes sin, and standing up becomes Fard.
“Permission (to fight) has been given to those who are being wronged, and indeed, Allah is competent to grant them victory.”
(Surah Al-Hajj: 39)
Unity of the Muslim Ummah – A Divine Command
In such times, the entire Muslim Ummah must unite—as one body, one soul, one voice.
The state must act, the army must lead, and the nation must rise—not in disorder, but in perfect discipline. With our wealth, our words, our duas, our sacrifices, and if needed, our lives, we must support the command of truth against the tides of falsehood.
This is not war for land.
This is not for politics or nationalism.
This is the defence of our Imaan, our honour, and the message of Muhammad ﷺ.
The Spirit of True Believers
“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah...”
(Surah At-Tawbah: 111)
The true believer does not fear death, because he knows that life is temporary, and honour lies in sacrifice. He knows that Jannah awaits, and his blood on the earth is more fragrant than musk in the sight of the angels.
Such a believer rises when the call is made.
He gives when the Ummah needs.
He forgives when peace is offered.
But he fights when cruelty demands resistance.
Our War Is for Peace, Our Sword Is for Mercy
Let it be known—we do not love war. We love peace.
But if war is imposed upon us, then we are not weak, and we are not afraid.
We are the Ummah of Khalid bin Waleed, the Lion of Allah.
We are the Ummah of Salahuddin Ayyubi, who liberated lands but never forgot compassion.
We are the Ummah of Imam Hussain, who stood alone on the plains of Karbala against tyranny till his last breath.
And above all, we are the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ—whose mercy was unmatched, whose bravery was divine.
Our Oath Till the Last Breath
So let the enemies of truth know: We do not seek violence, but we are not helpless.
We will strive.
We will rise.
We will sacrifice.
We will fight if we must.
And we will do it for Allah, by His Command, through His Law, under His Mercy.
Not for fame, not for hate, not for revenge—but to uphold His justice and fulfill our covenant as believers.
“And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children...”
(Surah An-Nisa: 75)
O Allah, make us among those who live with dignity and, if required, die with honour—for Your Deen, for Your love, and for Your pleasure. آمین یا رب العالمین
